A 24m² home studio worldwide. Before treatment, the bass was unreliable and the stereo image was smeared. After: RT60 dropped 5× across the critical mid-band, and the engineer could finally trust what they heard.
The engineer was producing indie-rock records in a converted bedroom. Mixes sounded punchy in the room but fell apart in the car. We measured a 1.38s RT60 in the 250Hz band and a +14dB room mode at 62Hz. After eight custom panels (four broadband absorbers, two corner bass traps, two rear diffusers), the decay reached 0.28s — matching the Sabine-calculated target for this room volume and intended use.
